Wm Dyck & Sons is seeking a motivated and dynamic Assistant Store Manager to join our
leadership team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the daily operations
of our retail environment, ensuring exceptional customer service, and helping drive sales
performance across all departments. This position requires strong leadership skills, a solid
understanding of retail operations, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team
members and customers alike.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the store, including staff supervision, merchandising, and scheduling.
Support the Store Manager in driving overall sales performance by implementing effective retail strategies.
Deliver exceptional customer service by resolving issues promptly and supporting a positive customer experience.
Train, mentor, and support team members to build product knowledge, improve service, and foster teamwork.
Help manage inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing to ensure product availability and accuracy.
Maintain high store standards by ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Contribute to pricing reviews, promotions, and product displays to maximize profitability and sales.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in retail or building material sales, with supervisory or management responsibilities preferred.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide a team.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with inventory control, merchandising, and retail operations.
Willingness to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends.
