We are looking for a Building Material Order Desk Sales team member to help support our continued growth.

Position Description
The Building Material Order Desk Sales position is a pivotal position and is responsible for a wide variety of duties. The successful applicant must have an excellent track record of providing superior customer service, preferably in a building/construction supply environment. This position is responsible for using our in-house software to create, manage, and maintain customer orders and records. The successful applicant must be able to multi-task, process information, calculate and produce accurate orders.

Because WM. Dyck & Sons is a supplier for a wide range of building supplies, it is key to this position that the applicant be able to quickly learn an array of product codes and work with customers of all backgrounds in order to assess their needs. The candidate must be detailed oriented to ensure the right product is ordered and delivered by effectively liaising with our shipping department, salespeople, and our customers.

Requirements
Experience in the building/construction supplies industry
Ability to provide respectful, caring, and superior customer service
Ability to work on Point Of Sale and other computer related software in compliance with store policy and procedures
Excellent oral and written English skills
Extremely detail oriented
