“Water doesn’t know political boundaries,” says Joey Pankiw, manager of the Seine Rat Roseau Watershed District (SRRWD), a nonprofit organization that promotes good stewardship of the 7,000 square kilometres impacted by the flow of three local rivers—the Seine, the Rat, and the Roseau. In total, the region affects 17 different municipalities.

The Town of Niverville is celebrating the fifth anniversary of its purchase of Open Health Niverville, the medical clinic located on the Heritage Centre campus.

Mark and Justine Douglas operate Highland Greenhouses Inc. on Sood Road. On their multiacre property, they raise their three kids, some chickens, and 120 cannabis plants inside their 2,400-square-foot grow facility.

Wild-yeast bread and baked treats are now available for walk-in customers at 69 Main Street in Niverville. The new Forgotten Flavours storefront first opened its doors to the public on February 25.
