Two months ago, Niverville’s town council announced their plan to meet the community’s future policing needs. They say that a new RCMP detachment will be created and staffed by 2023, a decision which council has indicated was made in large part based on the findings of a study they commissioned in 2018 but which until now hasn’t been available to the public.
