A class of 13 Grade 12 students have wrapped up their final year at Niverville High School, having gained new insight on what it means to be global citizens. Much of this is thanks to an elective course the students participated in called Global Issues, Citizenship and Sustainability, taught by Adrienne Happychuk.

The process of booking a timeslot at any of Niverville’s recreation facilities is about to change. The Town of Niverville will soon launch a brand-new online booking tool that will allow residents, coaches, and managers to view the availability of each facility and more easily book their spots.

This past May, a collection of Grade 10 students from Niverville High School (NHS) invited Mayor Myron Dyck to join them for a roundtable discussion on food sustainability. Their goal, after completing a multiweek project, was to make their pitch to someone in a position of power who could implement solutions to this rapidly growing environmental concern.

The planning committee for the Niverville Olde Tyme Country Fair will have been uttering a huge sigh of relief on Sunday, June 12, as their Friday and Saturday event this year went without a weather hitch.
