Niverville’s town council held their regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, November 16.

At a meeting of Niverville’s council on November 16, it was decided that a tract of land that currently contains the Old Drives Run driving range will be rezoned.

With COVID-19 case numbers once again reaching concerning levels throughout Manitoba, particularly in the Southern Health region, and hospitalizations creeping upward and placing strain on the healthcare system, the provincial government has announced some new public health measures.

Darcy Pauls of Niverville has come up with a way to pay forward some of the blessings in his life. Specifically, he has launched an initiative called AoS Trailers—AoS meaning “Acts of Service”—a platform which will allow him to lend his collection of trailers to those who need them, at no charge.

Food insecurity is a growing problem in Manitoba, a problem that the COVID-19 pandemic has only worsened. The price of food has risen significantly in the past few years, and the result is that many households no longer have sufficient access to adequate, safe, and nutritious food.

Construction on the new commercial strip mall at 31 Main Street in Niverville hasn’t even begun yet, but the storefronts are quickly being snapped up.
