If you’re taking a stroll through Hespeler Park and you hear the shouts and cheers of excited locals, there’s a good chance you’re hearing the fan club of the local men’s soccer team, the Niverville Force.

While indoor club volleyball has wound down for the summer, the sport is just heating up at Hespeler Park in Niverville July with a new four-day beach volleyball camp this July hosted by Team Manitoba athletes Fiona Brown and Selestine Braun Liu-Asomua, with added support from their Canada Summer Games coaches Chloe Reimer McCaughan and Erika Vermette.

It’s a milestone year for 17-year-old Niverville athlete Zoe Bardal as she prepares to represent Manitoba this August at the Canada Summer Games in St. John’s, Newfoundland.

Robert Pambrun has been working with the Nighthawks as their head strength, conditioning, and sport sciences coach for the past three years. This month, Pambrun will add to his resume when he joins the coaches of the Winnipeg Jets for the NHL team’s annual development camps.

From June 3–5, well over 1,000 senior athletes converged on Steinbach to participate in the 2025 Manitoba 55+ Games. At least three residents from Ritchot and Niverville emerged with medals thanks to their dedication to and love of pickleball.

With council’s approval on June 3 for the opening of Prairie Roots Fitness, residents of Niverville will soon have one more option for getting into shape.
