The Niverville Nighthawks couldn’t muster enough offence in their 3–1 loss to the Portage Terriers on the road on Wednesday evening. The Nighthawks now move to fourth place in the MJHL’s East Division with a record of 11–6–1.

On Friday, November 3, the Providence Pilots women’s volleyball season began with a bang as interim head coach Kyle Guenther led his team to victory over the Canadian Mennonite University (CMU) Blazers.

The Niverville Nighthawks battled hard on Saturday night on the road but were ultimately dispatched 2–1 in a nailbiter at the hands of the Selkirk Steelers. With the loss, the Nighthawks stay in third place in the MJHL’s East Division with a record of 11–5–1 on the season.

In 1997, Murielle Bugera was hired as the economic development officer for the RM of De Salaberry and the village of St-Pierre-Jolys. One of the goals Bugera and her staff had was to connect the communities of St. Malo, St-Pierre-Jolys, and Otterburne with trails.

Qigong classes have begun at Niverville’s Community Resource and Recreation Centre (CRRC). Known as the Eight Pieces of Brocade qigong, the classes teach eight movements that are said to open and close the body, thus providing healing and building strength from the inside out.
