The Niverville Nighthawks wrapped up their pre-Christmas schedule in convincing fashion Saturday night, rolling to a 5–1 victory over the Winnipeg Monarchs at the Hockey For All Centre.

In what has been a gruelling stretch of games, the Niverville Nighthawks showed their resilience on Sunday night, battling through fatigue and adversity to secure a 1–0 overtime victory over the Winnipeg Blues.

On a night dedicated to honouring the past, the Niverville Nighthawks put on a dominant performance for the present, rolling past the Winkler Flyers 8–2 on Saturday night at the CRRC.

The Niverville Nighthawks continued their red-hot play on Tuesday night, erupting for six unanswered goals in a commanding 6–1 road win over the Selkirk Steelers.

Earlier this week, the Nighthawks took over the #1 spot in the Canadian Junior Hockey League rankings as the top junior team in the nation. And on Tuesday night, they continued to show why they deserved to be there.

After spending three weeks away from the CRRC, the Niverville Nighthawks returned home Sunday evening and gave their fans plenty to cheer about. Just two nights after seeing their 16-game winning streak snapped in a 4–3 overtime loss to the Steinbach Pistons, the Nighthawks bounced back in a big way, routing the Virden Oil Capitals 11–2.

The top two teams in the MJHL went head-to-head Friday night at the Southeast Events Centre, and the matchup lived up to the hype.

The Niverville Nighthawks entered the contest riding a remarkable 16-game winning streak and boasting a 22–1–0 record, while the hometown Steinbach Pistons—winners of five of their previous six—were eager to put a stop to it in front of a their home crowd.
