The results are in from this year’s school board election in Hanover School Division’s Ward 1, which includes the communities of Niverville, New Bothwell, Kleefeld, and Crystal Springs. Incumbent Shannon Friesen handily won re-election with 893 total votes.

In Ritchot, Mamchuk and Pelletier Win Re-Election

The local results are in from this year’s Manitoba-wide municipal elections. Several members of Ritchot’s council won their seats by acclamation this year, including Mayor Chris Ewen, Janine Boulanger (Ward 4), and newcomer Curtis Claydon (Ward 3). Claydon replaced outgoing councillor Jeannot Robert, who had decided earlier this year not to seek re-election.
