Seniors Present Donations to Niverville Fire Department

Five Niverville seniors made a special appearance at the Niverville fire hall on August 13 to thank local fire and emergency service volunteers for their commitment to the community. On behalf of the seniors’ lunch program, coordinator Susan Bergmann presented a cheque for $7,100 to assist the fire team in the purchase of a new self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA).

Heritage Centre Restructures Upper Management

Niverville Fire and EMS Receive Substantial Grant

Niverville Fire Chief Keith Bueckert is excited to accept a grant on behalf of the Fire and EMS Department. The $20,000 grant, provided by Richardson International Ltd. of Winnipeg, will be put toward the purchase of another four Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) units.

The Last Grad Class of NCI

Under the traditional strains of Pomp and Circumstance, the last graduating class of Niverville Collegiate Institute marched toward the future at this year’s graduation ceremony on Wednesday, June 26. These 55 students said goodbye to NCI, and so did all the rest of us. While next summer will produce another crop of promising graduates, they will be products of Niverville High.
