As with so many of the Nighthawks’ games against the Steinbach Pistons last season, the latest matchup was a close and dramatic affair. Ultimately, the Pistons came out on top.

On Tuesday night, with just ten days until the start of the regular season, it was a third exhibition win in as many games for the Nighthawks, with the home team coming out on top at the CRRC after a home-and-away series with the Selkirk Steelers. In this one, the Nighthawks broke out to a big 4–1 lead, then held on as Selkirk made it close in the third period.

The Niverville Nighthawks travelled to Selkirk Sunday night and came home with their second win of the preseason.

The first preseason game of 2023 is officially in the books, and the Niverville Nighthawks came out on top, defeating the Kam River Fighting Walleye by a score of 3–1 in front of a home crowd at the CRRC.

The Niverville Community Resource and Recreation Centre (CRRC) has been a centrepiece of its community for just over two years. As the facility enters its third year in operation, there are many changes, updates, and upgrades to be found throughout.

The Niverville Force is back on the pitch for their third regular season in the Manitoba Major Soccer League.
