The U18 Eastman Selects female team is holding a special fundraiser game called Hockey Fights Cancer on November 5 at the Niverville CRRC. The event will take place at 3:45 p.m. and coincide with the team’s game against the Pembina Valley Hawks. Gate admission as well as the proceeds from a 50/50 sale, silent auction, and bake sale will all be donated to CancerCare Manitoba.

The Niverville Nighthawks put up another strong showing on Sunday night as they dispatched the Winnipeg Blues by an 8–3 score.

It was a spirited effort at the CRRC on Saturday night, but in the end, the top-ranked Portage Terriers defeated the Niverville Nighthawks by a 4–2 score.

The Niverville Nighthawks are rolling after defeating the Neepawa Titans 5–1 on Saturday evening for their second straight win. With the victory, the Nighthawks move to .500 on the season with a 6–6–0 record, good for fourth place in the MJHL’s East Division.

The fans at the CRCC were in for a treat Sunday afternoon as the home team won their third straight game, holding on to defeat the OCN Blizzard by a 7–5 score. The win improves their record to 7–6–0 on the year, putting them in fourth place in the MJHL’s East Division, and marking the first time they’ve climbed above .500 this season.
