The home crowd at the CRRC were in for a treat on Friday night as the Niverville Nighthawks played their best game of the season so far in a 6–0 beatdown of the Winnipeg Freeze.

Gavin Gunderson scored a hat trick on a big night for the Niverville Nighthawks on the road as they defeated the Selkirk Steelers by a 5–2 score to get back into the win column. The Nighthawks improve to 2–4–0 on the season, which is good for fifth place in the MJHL’s East Division.

The Baudry Trails project in Ste. Agathe has received exciting news: they have been given a $30,000 grant by the 2022 Trails Manitoba Grant Program to help improve and enhance their trail system.

The Niverville Nighthawks gave it a spirited fight on Friday night at the CRRC to a roaring house of fans. However, it was not meant to be as they fell to the Winkler Flyers by a narrow 3–2 score to move their record on the year to one win and three losses.

The Niverville Nighthawks earned their first win of the season, and first as a franchise, on Wednesday as they defeated the Winkler Flyers on the road by a dominant 5–1 score.

Hundreds of hockey fans flooded into Niverville’s CRRC on Saturday, September 17 to be part of history in the making. They were there for the inaugural home game of the newly formed Niverville Nighthawks and the official kickoff celebration of the community’s initiation into the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.
