Pumpkin Sales Help Fundraise for Arena Ice

Ten-year-old Chloe Baudry and her family have been growing pumpkins and donating the money to different causes in their hometown of Ste. Agathe for the past four years. This year, they’ve raised more than $600 for the Ste. Agathe Arena, which is fundraising for a new ice plant.

Cech Earns Hockey Canada Coaching Opportunity

Last week, Niverville Nighthawks head coach and general manager Kelvin Cech was announced by Hockey Canada as one of eight Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) coaches who have been selected to lead Team Canada East and Team Canada West at the 2023 World Junior A Hockey Challenge in Truro, Nova Scotia this December.

The Niverville Nighthawks have won their third straight game with a 4–0 thrashing of the OCN Blizzard on Tuesday evening at the Seven Oaks Sportsplex in Winnipeg. They remain in third place in the MJHL’s East Division with a record of 9–3–1.
